    Getting coaching from Sarah is like getting a therapist, a fitness consultant, and a front row seat to a Lizzo concert all at once-- peace + education + joy! As a larger bodied woman, I thought I had to shrink into a "fit body"; Sarah helped me find the strength and mobility that fits me. I learn so much about myself through her programming-- she gets to know who I want to be, and her workouts are little treats to help me achieve my future. I am more confident -- at the gym and in my daily life -- because of Sarah's training. I am strong! I am so capable!     When my gym closed I was devastated and I wasn't sure how I would ever get back on a fitness routine. I tried online routines on my own and just couldn't find a groove. Sarah swooped in and was able to give me a workout routine that fit my needs and has kept me excited and engaged doing workouts at home with the handful of equipment I have. She always makes sure the routines are keeping me motivated and updates them to focus on any specific area I want to work on.     I exercise not just to be stronger, but for my mental health, and I couldn’t have found a better coach for that. Sarah is so understanding about how my mind and thoughts are so intertwined with my body and movement rather than treating training as purely physical.     Before I started working with Sarah, my upper body strength was nonexistent and I felt really intimidated by gyms and weightlifting. Sarah is amazing at starting well within my comfort range and giving me feedback and cues to help me learn the correct technique for a new exercise. Pretty soon I have the confidence to challenge myself, and Sarah's there to cheer me on when I accomplish more than I thought was possible! After over a year with Sarah as my coach, I feel so much stronger, more well-rounded, and confident in my body. If you're like me and never thought of yourself as "strong", or the mental energy of designing your own workout is too much of a barrier, or you know you'd make more progress if you just worked out more consistently, I highly recommend working with Sarah!

    Working with Sarah has been fantastic. She brings a realistic, positive attitude to sessions that's not overly peppy, making lifting a fun activity even on long days. Her programming takes my particular limitations into account while still pushing me to achieve my goals both in the moment and long term. As someone who has been lifting weights for over 20 years I'm still surprised by some of the new and fun combination moves she programs for me. Her unique programming keeps my workouts fresh and interesting which has been a real game changer in a time of at home workouts and limited access to equipment.     I can't say enough wonderful things about working with Sarah. For most of my life, my relationship with my body had been based on its limitations, constrained by multiple chronic health issues. I'd never really worked out or taken on physical challenges. Over the past two years, Sarah has helped me to cultivate a new relationship with my body, focused instead on its capabilities. Her programs meet me where I'm at—physically and mentally—while also pushing me in exciting ways. In our coaching sessions, Sarah troubleshoots moves with me, validates my experience and emotions, and helps me cultivate a curiosity towards and excitement about progress I've made. I still don't love working out. But I love being someone who works out. Sarah has helped me to create and maintain a sustainable movement practice and I'm so grateful for the strength and joy I've found in the process.

My workouts are straight to the point (while still being surprised with some new movements each month) which is exactly what I need.     As I started my journey with kettlebells over a year ago, I knew I needed help to learn the basics. Luckily for me, I found Sarah.     I began training with Sarah in May 2022 via her online individualized program with feedback option, and it is one of the best investments I have ever made in myself! Sarah offers a complimentary strategy session to help determine if you’d like to work together. She was generous with her time in our session, and asked thoughtful and thought-provoking questions.

    I am a former professional dancer, and thus have knowledge of and interest in proper alignment for safe movement. It was important to me to work with a coach who exhibits good form, and Sarah definitely does that. She patiently answers any questions I have on execution of exercises.

    I have early-onset osteoporosis from prior cancer treatment, and was urged by my doctors to strength train. I took a bad fall five months into my work with Sarah, but amazingly didn’t shatter my wrists. This work is WORKING – I am getting stronger! Sarah meets me where I am on any particular training day with a great balance of celebrating my accomplishments and pushing me just a bit further. If anything causes pain, she asks questions to zero in on what the issue is, and then modifies the exercise for me, even sending me videos created especially for me in order to illustrate a particular modification. I am so thankful to have been introduced to Sarah and her judgement-free strength coaching, and look forward to our continued work together.

    I LOVED working with Sarah as a strength coach. With her help, I am now confident doing exercises with a barbell I hadn't previously thought I could do (overhead presses, front squats!). Sarah expertly tailored my program to my goals and my time limitations. I consider myself fairly knowledgeable about strength training and Sarah taught me a whole host of new exercises I hadn't considered before that were all very applicable to my goals.     Sarah has been more than just a personal trainer to me, she has been a huge support to keeping me mentally strong on days when I feel really low or can't make it to the gym because I'm short on time. Trainers have often designed intense workout routines for me which seemed doable at one point but with my present routine I am unable to keep up with the intensity normal coaches prefer to put me on. That's when I found Sarah. She designed a program for me which is short yet so effective. Over the past few months I have found myself getting stronger and leaner without sticking to the 'tire you down' workout routine. I would absolutely recommend her to my friends and family!

    I've been working with Sarah for a couple of years now. I am an injury-prone runner, but during our time together I have yet to end a season early. Each block is always tailored to what my goals are, and I've never had a bad session. Her playlists aren't bad either.
